Susanna, a Swedish Pilates instructor, writer, and artist, initiated her Pilates journey in 2003 when she embarked on her first teacher training in Pilates and was immediately hired by the company that educated her. She continued working for them for many years and has since undergone various Pilates teacher training programs, including Ball Pilates, Advanced Pilates, and the Pilates Reformer. For the past couple of years, she has been working for a yoga studio and, of course, serving as the in-house Pilates teacher at Universal Movement.

Susanna's dedication to Pilates extends beyond a fitness practice; it has been her trusted companion through various life stages, including two pregnancies. For her, Pilates embodies self-love for the spine, promoting health and flexibility.

After having known Alexe ages ago in her twenties, they happily reconnected through a New Moon circle a couple of years ago, and Alexe introduced her to the principles of Body Astrology, asking her to teach Pilates based on them. She was intrigued and has been fortunate to have Alexe as a mentor. Pilates has always been her trusted fitness companion throughout her life. The first time she tried it, she was hooked, and it really resonated with her. With the knowledge of Body Astrology she now possesses, it has been revealed to her that Pilates is an excellent movement for a Virgo Sun, just like herself. The beauty of combining Pilates with Body Astrology is that, despite being core- and posture-based training, Pilates offers a full-body workout. Consequently, it's straightforward to tailor Pilates classes for all the Sun signs, basing the classes on the affected areas of the body.

What can you expect in our Pilates online classes?

You can expect a certain level of challenge, but always balanced with exercises that are gentle yet highly beneficial. Her teaching method is down to earth, straightforward, and she strives to provide as clear instructions as possible. 

Are the Pilates online classes for everybody? 

It is not recommended to do  our Pilates online classes when pregnant, and if you have back issues I suggest you approach it with caution. Other than that, our Pilates online classes will suit both beginners and the more advanced.
