About the art 

The works in Collection No1 are made with Posca markers on thin paper, sealed with varnish. These are original drawings, made between 2017 and 2023. Some of them I have returned to over several years. Layers built. Hours spent. Slow art indeed. There will only be one of each. 

I spent the last ten years focusing all my energy on becoming the artist I always wanted to be. I have documented the entire process in images and journals. 

I work with contrast, and to dwell on the threshold of light and dark, which is why I call my account Klärobskyr. I let intuition be my guide and take inspiration in everything from literature, movies, the occult, nature, interior design, my subcultural background and of course from other artists throughout history.

When it comes to getting under the skin, talking about what the pieces actually mean to me, I would like to quote my old colleague Henric de la Cour: I don’t want to talk about it.
